Levelling springs
Used for levelling surface before the rear packer. Suitable equipment for machines used in lighter soils.
Small farmers also want to use the advantages of processing soil up to a depth of 35 centimetres. The FENIX FN_L is a compact model of the mounted cultivator for deep loosening as well as shallow soil cultivation right after the harvest. The light, but robust design allows the FENIX FN_L cultivator to be connected with tractors starting at 150 horsepowers. The variability of the sweeps offers a wide range of use throughout the year.

A mounted cultivator for deep soil cultivation of up to 35 centimetres, including shallow stubble cultivation after harvest.
The FENIX FN_L cultivator is equipped with horizontal auto-reset tine protection or shear bolt protection. This model is suitable for light to medium-heavy soils. The low weight of tine securing system makes it possible to connect the machine with tractors with lower power.
The FENIX FN_L mounted cultivator can carry out deep loosening up to the maximum depth of 35 cm. Deep loosening is recommended especially before seeding deep-root crops, or in the autumn, as it prepares the foundation for the formation of a strong root system, through which the plant will absorb water and nutrients. Deep loosening helps achieve an adequate soil structure with the proper size of the individual soil particles, and it appropriately starts the functional and water regime of soil.
The design and a wide range of chisels make the FENIX FN_L mounted cultivator suitable for shallow stubble cultivation up to 15 centimetres. We recommend fitting the FENIX FN_L cultivator with chisels with wings for excellent soil profile processing. A properly performed stubble cultivation is important for the elimination of the growth of weeds, incorporation of crop residue into soil, it reduces the evaporation of soil moisture, and starts the growth of wanted seeds.
The mounted cultivator is also suitable for universal use throughout the year, for example for seedbed preparation and excellent surface leveling, which is guaranteed by a combination of rear spring levelling section or levelling disc section and rear packers.
The FENIX FN_L tine cultivator has working tines arranged in three rows, with a spacing of 30 centimetres between the individual tines. This arrangement brings an excellent loosening and mixing effect because the soil is undercut along the entire machine width with subsequent crop residue mixing.
The FENIX FN_L mounted cultivator is a suitable machine for deep soil cultivation as well as shallow stubble cultivation after harvest. The FENIX FN_L cultivator can be equipped with a whole range of working parts in relation to the soil character or customer’s requirements. The three rows of tines are followed with a levelling section, which can be fitted either with spring levellers or discs. It is also possible to mount a harrow for final surface finish after the rollers.
The FENIX FN_L deep cultivator can be equipped with four types of working chisels and three types of wings, which let you adjust the machine for deep loosening or shallow stubble cultivation after harvest. A properly selected chisel and wings type is also important in terms of the character of the soil to be processed, or the season.
The FENIX FN_L cultivator is mainly designed for connection with smaller tractors, that is why weight is an important parameter. In relation to the selected model, the weight of the FENIX FN_L cultivator ranges from 1,350 to 3,800 kilograms. The FENIX FN_L cultivator has a light, but robust frame and it is easily connected with tractors of 150 horsepower.
The FENIX FN_L tine cultivator can be equipped with easy mechanical or full hydraulic control of the working depth setting according to your requirements.
When performing deep loosening, it is recommended to apply the required nutrients into the soil profile, for example, in the form of mineral fertilisers. For this operation, the FENIX FN_L deep cultivator can be equipped with a set for fertiliser application, consisting of a distribution head and distribution leading to the individual sweeps.
The FENIX FN_L tine cultivator can be equipped with the BEDNAR ALFA DRILL seeding unit while in production, for seeding catch crop and small-seed plants during stubble cultivation, all in one pass. The time and fuel savings are considerable. The seeding unit has a capacity of 400 litres.
The FENIX FN_L mounted cultivator has an exceptionally high variability of various types of rear packers (heavy steel packers, traditional rod packers, or double-roller packers). The closure and consolidation of the cultivated surface provides even emergence of unwanted seeds, weeds, and reduces evaporation of soil moisture.

“I mostly used a plough and a disc cultivator for soil cultivation at the farm. When compared with the plough, the work with a FENIX FN_L is faster. Moreover, I achieve a higher daily output and lower fuel consumption with the cultivator by the Czech manufacturer, BEDNAR. I decided to purchase the cultivator because we are in an organic farming system. Another reason is that I can use it for mechanical elimination of weeds. When compared with the disc cultivators, the sweeps mix the unwanted seeds and weeds with soil and prevent their intense spreading.”
